Originally from Birmingham, England, Garry now lives in Sydney, Australia, with his wife (Kylie) and son (Jack). He is a freelance web & graphic designer and in his spare time runs Redsine, an online magazine which will soon be switching to a print format (visit redsine.com for more details).

He also designs book covers for Cosmos Books and Imaginary Worlds. His designs include Brian N. Ball's The Probability Man and Planet Probability (for which he also supplied the cover art), Steve Savile's Similar Monsters, Jeff VanderMeer's City of Saints & Madmen, and The Year's Best Dark Fantasy edited by Steve Savile.
