Across five decades, under his own name and scores of pseudonyms, London-born author E.C.TUBB has published hundreds of novels and stories of science fiction and fantasy. He has won a dual reputation as a writer of colourful and exciting adventure novels, as well as thought-provoking and challenging works. Tubb is internationally known, and his work has been reprinted worldwide in more than a dozen languages.

He is famous for the long-running Dumarest of Terra series of novels - the galaxy-spanning saga of Earl Dumarest, and his search to find his way back across the stars to the legendary lost planet where he was born - Earth. Wildside Press are to reprint this classic series, and Tubb has recently written new short stories about Dumarest as a boy, which will be appearing exclusively later this year in the new Cosmos collection, Fantasy Quarterly. His other classic science fiction novels include The Space-Born, a definitive work on the generation starship theme, and Alien Dust, a powerful story of the colonisation of Mars.

Cosmos Books will be bringing several of these classic titles back to print in 2000 and 2001. The first to be available are The Extra Man with a new introduction by Philip Harbottle and The Resurrected Man.
